These are precautions you should take before every yoga exercise:
1. Yoga should be learned from a qualified trainer.
2. Minimum age is five years.
3. Use a soft mattress for doing Yogasanas.
4. Don’t take any solid diet before doing yoga.
5. You can take limited quantity of water.
6. Some Yogasanas are not done by people suffering from arthritis, asthma and Diabetes.
7. Consult physician for advice.
8. Don’t depend solely on books and cd for learning yoga.
9. Use special dresses for yoga training.
10. Mayurasana should not be done persons aged more than 35 years and people who under went surgery recently.
